Amazon has warned its 220 million Prime subscribers of surging phishing scams and credential-stuffing attacks via fake emails and calls mimicking the company, aiming to steal login and payment info. No systemic breach occurred, but Amazon urges enabling 2FA, monitoring accounts, and verifying communications officially to prevent unauthorized access and maintain trust.
Users must be extra careful because information in the leaked datasets opens the door to pretty much any online service, from Facebook and Google.
